@import

I having trouble getting @import to work, could someone please tell me
the correct syntax.

I want to import a stylesheet with url

/scripts/sidebar.css

I tried

@import url(/scripts/sidebar.css)

but it didn't work. I'm doing this so as to stop my style getting used
in NN4, so any other suggestions appreciated.
