Hi

I'm using IE 6 on Win2000 SP2 and it looks fine to me. I also checked
the source code for you and it seems to be in tact from a quick look. I
don't know what this line in the body tag means (I've never used it) but
maybe it's causing some problem.

stylesrc="../../cpy1/colors1.htm"

I can tell you now that I never encountered your problem when I was
using IE 5 on both win2000 and win98. Perhaps it is something to do with
your settings as you described. Sorry that I can't be more help here.

Later,
Mr Brett

Subject: I can't see this page on my broswer screen.

Hi y'all! <G>

I'm not sure if this question is being posted to the
right list but I'll give it a shot. Someone please
let me if this is okay or on what list to post this?

Thanks, in advance.

Anyhow, the following page is stumping me:

http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/rng3/g/godblesstheusa.htm

I can view the source code of the page but I can't see
the page on the screen. All I see is a blank page.

Also noticed that when I view the source code, many of
the tags are opened but not closed. However, when I
checked with the author of the page, he told me they
were closed.

I have no idea why this would be. But I had thought
that maybe having both NORTON ANTIVIRUS and INTERNET
SECURITY on this computer might be doing something to
the display of some of these pages. Specifically, the
settings for these two programs could be messing
things around.

Or else, it could be the 'Security' settings under the
Internet Options dialog box. I had changed a little
while ago. But then I realized that I probably should
just leave them at default.

I've put the 'Security' settings back to the default.
And I've done the same with the settings on the NORTON
INTERNET SECURITY program.

Still, I see the source code with a scad of open tags
in it and the page just doesn't display on the screen.

Oh, and I'm using IE 5.01 on a WINDOWS 98 platform.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?
If so, do you also have any ideas on how to correct
this?

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance you may able to
provide to me on this matter.

God bless and take care. :>).
                                                  Olga
