I'm re-designing a website for a local mountain bike club. There is a flash
banner they had on their old site that they wanted to put on the new site. I
was sent the .swf file, but I don't think they have the source (.fla) file,
so I copied the code off the original website.

The problem is, it only works in IE. It will not load in any version of NS
or Opera. At first I thought maybe the browsers weren't set up to handle the
flash file, but I viewed other websites on the net that had flash in each of
these browsers and it worked. Yet when I viewed the original website that
they had with the flash banner in each of the browsers, it didn't work. I'm
thinking perhaps the file is corrupt? Could someone look at the code and see
if you can spot the problem. I know very little about flash. I've only
dabbled with it and NEVER used it on any website I've ever made, so I'm a
bit clueless here. Here's the code I have:

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.ca
b#version=6,0,29,0" width="468" height="60">
                    <param name="movie" value="clubmudban.swf">
                    <param name=quality value=high>
                    <embed src="clubmudban.swf" quality=high
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_
Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="468"
height="60">
                    </embed>
                  </object>

The original site they have is http://www.clubmud.com/

Here's a temp version of the re-designed page that I'm putting the flash
file on:
http://web-design-cs.com/temps/clubmud/index.htm

Again, it only works in IE.

TIA,
Lisa
