Digital camera for Web, print

Members of this list recently offered me a number of good
recommendations advice about what kind of digital camera
works well for Web and print images. The further issues are
these: I work for a town that can't afford a 3-megapixel
camera. The PCs to which I have access has no USB for
downloading images.

About the most we can afford is a Sony Mavica FD90 ($700 or
so online). In the experience of any of you who have used
this camera, will it produce acceptable images for print, if
used no larger than 4 by 5 inches at 300 dpi?
