Try removing one of the images from the site...:).

Seriously, the alt attribute is supposed to display when the miage is
missing, not when it's there, despite what we are used to. Try using the
title attribute in your image along with the alt. You should see the title
text on mouseover.

Hi, All!!!

I'm developing a web site in XHTML 1.0 Strict. I test it in NS 4.79, IE
6.0.26 and NS 6.2.1. NS 6.2.1 does not display the text for the "alt"
parameter for the "img" tags (or at least takes forever and a day).

I ran an earlier version through the validator on the W3.org site. The
only errors were

1. Border="0" is not a valid "img" parameter under XHTML 1.0 Strict.
CSS to the rescue!!.
2. The "img" tags were missing the "alt='some text'" parameter.

I've uploaded the Latest & Greatest version. At
www24.brinkster.com/paulkmecak, click on the "Salvation Army" link.
Currently, only the Home, Community Services and Day Care links work.

Any suggestions on how to get NS 6.2.1 to recognize the "alt" parameter
will be appreciated.
