Webpage printing

Is anyone aware of a way to make a webpage print without displaying the
traditional page title, page number at the top and the URL and date at the
bottom?  I am aware that CSS can use the media type attribute to set
different parameters for printed pages, but I need to remove those pesky
headers and footers that appear.  Any takers?
