My experience with Yahoo is that if they don't visit and include you
within the first week you don't get in! I have had 5 sites that I have
submitted and got in with in a week. 3 were within just 48 hrs of
submitting. All the others I have submitted took second or
third submittions, but then it was with in the week after that submittion.
that they were put in. So this doesn't surprise me. Getting dropped
is something else. I bet you were seeing yourself in their inktomi listing,
I have had several say they are in yahoo and are not, but are in the
inktomi database.

One thing I have found, when I visited you site this morning, it took eons
for it to load, it had nothing to do with your site or design it was a
server
issue. I have had this problem with my server where my sites are hosted,
especially in the wee hours of the morning. They have times when they
are like in limbo, be it maintenance or whatever, and a site will sit and
sit
and sit, and won't load. Well I figure that if the spidering and crawling
search engines, have you one day and then respider and hit this wall
that they will mark it down as a bad link and take you off the list.
That is my take on this "in one day gone the next" thing. I just
consider it common policy to resubmit at least every couple of
months just because.

Suggestions to help. You have no Description meta tags. You need this.
Not all search engines are alike. Some use keywords, some use descriptions,
some use your title, and some use and only use the first 100 words of text
it finds. So you have to plan carefully so that you accommodate them all.
Second I found your first page has keywords, but sub pages didn't.
Keyword them all. And think of every thing that you can that has
to do with your site. Don't just stick a few words in and expect
miracles. I counted 9 keywords in you meta tag. You need to
beef that up.
Third, on the biography page, your title is "Biography" Well?
of who? Beef up those titles.. Put something like
"Biography of Dave Rosenberg, County Supervisor, District 4
Yolo County of California" Each page should have its own
distinctive title. If you want to be found you have to give them
something to find you with.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Nancy Whittley
