I know this is Off Topic sort of, but not when it interferes
with my work! I have a site to get finished and my day has
started out with this issue: (I have more respect for the members of
this list than any other, that is why I am asking here. The knowledge
base is just too darn good.)
Any of you Network experts know what or who this is

IANA (LOOPBACK)

   Netname: LOOPBACK
   Netnumber: 127.0.0.0

For some reason this morning when I logged on, I was bombarded by
warnings from my firewall that 127.0.0.1 wants to talk to EVERYTHING.
Ftp, email, WWW. port this port that. I am loosing my mind, I can't work
like this. I asked neotrace what this was and it called it:
javascript-of-unknown-origin.netscape.com
but whois calls it LoopBack.

I looked it up and found this address:
http://velociraptor.mni.fh-giessen.de/ldp/nag/node66.html
and this:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~ronvwier/OS2/loopback.html

I need for one of the experts to sort of explain why all of a sudden this
morning I am having this. I am trying to get a site developed and can't
work for all the warning screens!? Why after all this time is this loopback
thing showing up? What I can do to stop this, so I can get this site
finished
and uploaded. Thanks

Sincerely,

Nancy Whittley
