Moving Websites

I use WS_FTP and have always assumed that the left pane has to display a
directory on your computer...

Is it possible to put a web directory in that pane so you can transfer files
directly from one host to another???

(I have a client who has loaded heaps of images into his image directory and
it would save time to transfer them straight across...if such a thing is
possible)
