Ben,
    I would put the image map in a hidden div and make the div visible on
mouseover and hidden on mouseout

Subject: JavaScript Hell

| Hi all;
| This is a plea for help. I have racked my brain for 3 14-hour days
straight
| trying to do what I *thought* would be a very simple thing. Admittedly, I
| haven't studied JS and I've been hacking my way through this jungle. (Yes,
| I know, welcome to the world of programming, Virginia.) Okay, when I have
| an image, and the user mouses over said image, I would like *another*
image
| to pop up (*not* an ugly JS pop-up window, just a regular image) that has
2
| branches with a linked usemap. Simple, right? Why am I losing sleep? How
is
| this done? Your help, as always, is very much appreciated. I am a more
humbled,
| BenO
|
