Okay Darren, I'll be the dissenting voice: What ever happened to "do unto
others"? How would you want to be treated if the situation was reversed?

There are a lot of things that are perfectly legal yet absolutely immoral
and wanton with disrespect. My sense is, if you feel the need to ask
permission/advice from a peer group on a matter like this then probably your
gut is telling you that doing it would somehow be "wrong" and you are
seeking a kind of preemptive absolution.

How about taking a more direct approach and contacting the Brazilian folks?
Who knows, this could open the door to an opportunity of a lifetime... (or
not). But at least it would be honest and direct rather than dastardly and
covert.

With respect... we've got to do business the way we want business to be
done. We *are* "the marketplace" and it dances to tune we hum-m-m-m-m. Moral
ambiguity and transient truth are the ways and means of ethical genocide.
