We bought our iMac with the card in place.  We use a utility
called DAVE (http://www.thursby.com/products/dave.html) to hook it
up to our network....sort of a Samba for Macs...:).  I'm still not
sure where to find everything in there (the Mac), but it does see
the other machines.
