Hi all:
I'm using a javascript command to close a popup window on many pages in a
few of my sites. In IE5, on some pages, when the close window link is
clicked, an alert box with the message "The web page you are viewing is
trying to close this window. Do you want to close this window?" Then the
visitor must click yes or no. On other pages with the same script, the
alert box does not appear. Obviously I would rather not ever have the alert
box. (Doesn't seem to be a problem in NN)

Here's a page that gives me the alert box; go to
http://www.bluesarthouse.com/companylogo.htm , click on a logo design to get
the pop up box and then click on 'gallery' to close the box.

I get no alert box on this page; go to
http://www.stickboyandcrazygirl.com/picgallery.htm (it might load slowly),
click on a pic for the pop up and then click 'back to gallery.'

I would also appreciate feedback about browsers & versions and who is
getting alert boxes.

TIA!
