No..its not just you...:).

Some people just don't understand: there are people who *can't see" any
details in the higher resolutions.  My eyesight is still pretty decent, but
even I get headaches if I start at code all day at anything over 1074, and I
know people who simply can not make out any of the text on the screen at
800x600.

I don't design for them because I'm their hero.  I do it because I think its
right.
