I heard (from some source I can't remember, which makes it suspect!) that it
can help your SEO.  OTOH, I also feel it's harder to get the crowd to
remember where the hyphen goes.

So, I'd buy both, use FineEmerald.com as the main domain and then point the
hyphenated version at the site and submit that as well...:)

What are your opinions regarding hyphens in domain names? I have a friend
who was about to launch her business site, and her business name when
concatenated would put two e's back-to-back

Example: www.fineemeralds.com

Would she be better off with www.fine-emeralds.com?
