Hi,

I have a client who has 2 companies. Lets call them "X Inc" and "Y Ltd".
They both have there own web sites i.e. "X-inc.com" and "Y-ltd.com". The web
site of X-inc.com is hosted on a server while Y-ltd.com points to a folder
at X-inc.com. Y-ltd.com uses stealth re-direction. So the visitor thinks
Y-ltd.com is the URL of the site and not X-inc.com/y-ltd/index.htm.

Now my question is how will a search engine index Y-ltd.com which is using
stealth re-direction?? Will it index
X-inc.com/y-ltd/index.htm or will it index Y-ltd.com??? How does one get
Y-ltd.com to get indexed instead of
X-inc.com/y-ltd/index.htm ?? What are the pros and cons of having stealth
redirection in regards to indexing??

Await your replies.

Best Wishes,
Sunil.
