I am using version 3. I tried selecting and deleting the slice many times
before I admitted defeat. I could re-size it by moving the corners around,
but no delete it. Then I sent the email and shut down the computer.

Today when I opened the file the slice was not visible, but there was still
a problem - that the export command gave a warning that there were two
overlapping hotspots. Then I found that I had two copies of the button, one
on top of the other - but apparently with the same set of layers. How I
managed to do that is not clear - but it surely has something to do with
unfamiliarity with the program.

It seems to be OK now, but I am not sure what the original mistake was.

Now I have to try to make a navigation bar from copies of the button - to
minimise the work if the colour scheme has to be changed. Has anyone any
sage advice about traps to avoid in this process?

Andrew
