No-Repeat inside <td>

Thanks to this list, I know how to do a no-repeat of a body background image
(below), but I'm building a page (not online yet)that has an image as a
background inside a table cell, and I can't quite figure out how to adapt
the style to that use. Any advice? Of course, it has to work with pesky
Netscape as well as IE (at least with the 4's and up).

No-repeat for body background; <> tags replaced with brackets for this
email...

background-image: url(image.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
