No XHTML is a development of HTML

Not the extreme cut down version that the WAP provides, but a happy

No, there will be no more HTML specs. HTML4.0 is the last HTML spec. Future
specs will be XHTML specs.

XHTML can do everything that HTML can do-- and more

Frames are allowed in XHTML. Same syntax as HTML

XML parsers are not required to pass comments through to the parser, but in
fact all XHTML parsers do, so essentially you can carry on using scripts in
just the same way as before, however there is no guarentee that future
parsers will carry on doing this. It is in fact better practice to put
scripts in external files.

(If you are interested in the technical discussion reasons as to why there
is a 'script' problem, have a look at the XML spec.)
