If you look at the "biggie" sites, you'll see that most design their sites
to fit into the 600 pixel width.  If you're worried about white space to the
right, make an attractive, coordinated background that will only be seen by
those with larger screens.  Even though I have a larger screen, I rarely
open my internet window full-sized.  One must be aware of WebTV users, too,
that have even less real estate.
