ayup, this is a great idea.   It also allows for easy expansion with
upcoming browser/OS combos.

Another suggestion for testing is that you have someone else do the testing.
Hopefully someone who isn't familiar with the app because they don't have
any pre-conceived ideas as to what will happen when they perform a certain
action. This way you get both error feedback and usability feedback while
you can work on another project,  the documentation for the current project,
or spend some time playing with your dogs :).
