Using MSIE 5.0 there is no white line, either.  Likewise for MSIE 4.72,
Netscape 4.08 Standalone, and Opera 4.02.  Occasionally, this happens to me
on MSIE 4.0, but it never seems to be consistent.  It might be an
idiosyncrasy of your browser.
