Hi Rebecca,

Actually, Homesite DOES offer line-numbering, though not in the code itself.
In the left margin (the grey band), you can activate line numbers by
clicking the # button near the top, just to the left of the margin (between
the editing region and the file pane). You can also get line numbers if you
want to print your code for reference.

I believe the line numbering function has been around since at least version
4. In Version 5, it's the fifth button down in the vertical toolbar I
described next to the editing pane. I can send you a screenshot if you're
having difficulty locating it (it took me some time to find it, and I
actually stumbled across it by accident when I first found it... I don't
recall seeing any options to activate it in the settings or help files)...
