Try – It is also ASCII character 45. I found this in a great book
"Dynamic HTML: The definitive reference.

Subject: em dash

Hello all!

I am having a problem locating the numerical equivalent of a certain
character. The em dash () is needed on an upcoming website and I have not
been able to determine how to create this on a webpage. If any knows how to
create it I would greatly appreciate knowing.

Thanks In Advance,
Joe Keilholz
