I would agree with the idea of just putting some text next to the link,
stating that by clicking on it the visitor will be leaving the site. As for
the javascript warning, what happens when people have their javascript
disabled? And, if it was me, having to go to an intermediate page to get to
a link would be somewhat annoying.
