Funny...Mozilla 1.0 (which is not Netscape 6.x, although that latter is
based on Mozilla's engine) never crashes for me...it's a damn fine browser
so far, and a really impressive effort on the part of the team behind it. I
consider it to be friendlier and more reliable than Opera, a match for IE
and far better than NN4 (for me - sorry, cbirds!) on my Linux machines. The
email client seems as versatile as any of it's commercially available
counterparts and the W3C support is certainly among the best currently on
the market.

I really find it hard to see where to criticize this software? Bugs it may
have - all applications do - but it has grown from a near-death blow to the
point where it can be a major contender in the browser market while still
remaining Open Source! It provides Netscape 4 fans with an MS-free upgrade
path (for those who want one!), and gives many different markets (handhelds
and AOL come to mind) a second choice over IE for their browser.

Just my opinion, but I happy that the Mozilla project managed to hang in
there against all odds and finally give us this great Open Source
application.

Which "Netscape"? The original Netscape (4.7.9) never crashes for me.
