I am not getting any type of js errors when viewing in IE4, but I did take
notice that you do not have quotes around your attributes in your <.script>
tag, ie:

<.SCRIPT language=JavaScript type=text/javascript>

should be:

<.SCRIPT language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">

(without the beginning period ... why I am adding this period because some
don't have a real email client, is beyond me --- arrrrgh!)

This may be your problem?
