NS/Linux JS question

The following form action works for all 4+ browser/platforms, *except*
NS/Linux, which doesnt't return the button value!

onClick="document.clock.button.value='OUT'"><INPUT TYPE="image"

Any ideas??? (Plz respond directly; I use the digest)
