redirect question

I am asking this question on behalf of a co-worker.  She is working on a
page that displays records in a database.  There are a lot of records so
there are mulitple pages.  Here's the problem:

When a user is on page two and clicks a link to view product information,
how do you then get them back to page two (where they were previously) via a
link?  I am guessing there is javascript to do just that.

I probably didn't do the best job of explaining that but I hope someone who
works with records knows what I am talking about.
