I use XP and have had no reason to attempt to downgrade the IE browser. So
I'm afraid I can't help you there. As for the other questions you have, the
latest version of Mozilla is 0.9.8, so I'd recommend getting it. Netscape
6.2.1 is based (I believe) on Mozilla 0.9.6. An additional browser to
consider would be Opera 6. I no longer test in the older browsers, as my
previous post to the list to Greg explains. As for other browsers, the above
are the one I suggest for Windows. If you have Linux, get Konquerer,
Netscape, and Mozilla, and possibly Opera. For MacOS, IE, Netscape, and
Opera are also good choices from what I've heard. I only have WinXP
available to me, so the usability of the Linux and MacOS browsers cannot be
verified personally.
