I am unsure of their scripts. It is hard to tell what the problem is. I have my own download script which runs off a simple text file and also logs how many times it has been downloaded etc. I haven't updated in in a while but feel free to check it out. http://www.dawgclan.net
I noticed that script was using file system references which seemed a bit strange/security risk to me. You can also rename php files as php source files example: index.php renamed to index.phps will outline the code in colors to help determine problems. If you do check out my script and find any issues I will be able to help as I wrote it ;)
