I'm not a knowledgeable ASP programmer .. (alright I confess, I dont know a
damn thing about ASP!) .. so would this book be useful for someone like me,
with only a very elementary programming knowledge?

Or would I be better to spend time coming up to speed on a programming
language first?

In which case, which language would you recommend, given that the object of
the exercise is to eventually be proficient in ASP?

Cheers,

p.s. I offer ASP programming as part of my business - I buy it in from
sub-contractors as needed. I see this as another way to add to my own
skills and perhaps do some more things for myself.
