logo appearing in the address bar

Dear Friends,

In yesterday's digest the following URL had been mentioned:
http://www.analogx.com/contents/news.htm

When i went there i noticed that the companies logo appeared next to the URL in the address bar in IE 4.0. I have noticed that with Hotmail also. 

Also when you bookmark the site the logo appears in the favourites section.

Can someone tell me how that can be done???? It's a very cool idea. I would really like to incorporate it in my web sites.
