I think it''s because you assign an absolute position to a SPAN.  Use DIV's 
instead. The page now looks really horrible in IE5 Mac, I think the DIV's 
will also solve that problem.

Second error:

A:link { text-decoration: none; color=#000000 }

Replace the = by a :  Maybe this'll help too.
