CSS: I want to make one word Bold

This is probably easy but....

I'm using CSS and have a paragraph that I want one word to be bold and a
different color. In the old days I just <font color=.....> and <b>. How do
I do that using CSS (i.e., I don't want another <P class="...">...its like
I want <text class="...."> without disrupting the flow of the paragraph.
