I got to looking at the aforementioned graphic and to me the cross hairs
were in the area of his left nostril.

Now THAT makes sense to me...if the "weapon" is a "rubber hose."

Something like:
"So much for you O-Sammy, Old Boy...we can come back much better than you
ever imagined!"

Eh?
