Kehvan,

You misunderstand me. I do not have a penchant for any particular browser.
I have both IE5 and Netscape 4.7 on board, along with Opera and Netscape 6.
I predominately use IE for "surfing" purely because Netscape ate my
bookmarks and I haven't had the time or the inclination to sort it out. The
other browsers are purely for testing purposes...a necessary evil :)

I hear what you're saying, I agree with you and it would be nice if all
things were equal, but the sad fact is...they're not and yes, it can be
very frustrating.

Whether you or I happen to think one browser is better than the other is
not the point. The point is...is what you design going to be seen the way
you want it to be seen by your target audience ? If the answer is yes,
then good. If not, then you better look at why and deal with it the best
way you can.

The whole point of what I was saying was that, there are a *some* people
out there that do not take into account, the "idiosyncrasies" of the
different browsers when they design a site and they then blame the browser.
We then see comments to this and other lists like...."It works fine in IE
but stupid Netscape has screwed it all up." :)

*If* you write sloppy code, chances are that IE will forgive you and
Netscape will not. *If*you are determined to use Style Sheets, then it's a
possibility that Netscape will ignore them. *If* you leave table cells
empty, Netscape *will* turn your creation into tossed salad.

So, I am NOT saying that Netscape is better...I am NOT saying that IE is
better, I am simply saying IE is more forgiving and that is a sad fact.

Kym
