JS Form with ReCalc?

Does anyone have an example of a JS form with a Calc (or ReCalc) button that will display a result on the current form? I need to do some simple math to create an answer on a form, .. and I was thinking it would be a lot better to do it with client-side JS instead of calling a cgi on the server.
