In my experience, NN will respect a percentage width -- it just adds it 
into the overall table row width. So, if I have a 20% cell with a 675 pixel 
image in it, NN will happily make the rest of the table big enough to 
render the image in 20-percent of the overall table (and add some invisible 
margins as well since cells have to start and end somewhere).

Anyway, that's just been my experience.
