counting visits/pages viewed

Hi all,

I was asked by a client to put a counter on his web site and that seemed 
pretty simple. However, this client wants to know not only how many people 
are visiting, but what pages they are viewing as well.

Can someone make suggestions as to what I can use - either commercialized 
counters (such as thecounter) or other options.
