just adding my two cents hear, I do not endorse the opening of new windows 
to leave a site (nor frames and such) for reasons that have already been 
mentioned by the other responses (no need in repeating them all over 
again). I hadn't thought of the javaScript method but I do kind of like it, 
as an option at least.
