It is not necessary to know the codes for the ligatures.  Doug can enter a 
ligature in Word using Insert Symbol.  Then he can copy it to the 
clipboard, run the Replace function, paste the code into the Search box, 
and type the equivalent characters in the Replace box.  Quite simple.
