I haven't used Eudora Lite in years to be honest but I think the lite=20
version should be at par with the pro version (or very close) in regards to=

filtering.  With the very newest version of Eudora (4.3.x), the paid and=20
free versions are now identical in terms of features and the free version=20
is labelled as "sponsored mode".  You have to live with some ads but I hear=
=20
they are very unobtrusive and done tastefully.   I've been using the pro=20
version since 2.2.x myself.  As for security, no version of Eudora has or=20
ever had the weaknesses of Outlook.
