sorta off topic (lists)

I'm desperate! I'm trying to write a reverse method for a linked list that
ignores the data type of the objects in the list and reverses the objects
by manipulating the "pointers". I don't necessarily need code, but I've
spent more hours than are reasonable writing and re-writing bogus code for
something I should know how to do. I'm about ready to switch my major to
cooking. Can anyone help?
