It looks like images/blank.gif, specified in the second <.td>, is a 
no-show.  N6 is probably considering it an empty cell and making it 
transparent.  It's also collapsing the center column some.

IE, however, appears satisfied that something's _supposed_ to be there 
that's 480px wide and sets the table accordingly.

I think if you track down blank.gif the problem will go away.
