Hi,

Some folks seem to be having problems with IE not loading pages
after installing NN6.

I have been having a problem where in NN4.08 and IE5.5, a page
will *sometimes* not RE-load. Either I get nothing, or the page
gets partially loaded then seems to stall -- usually it appears to
be trying to load a graphic at the time. If I do a "hard" re-load
(shift-reload), pages will always load fine. If I clear the disk
cache, pages will always load fine -- the first time. Once the page
(and images) are in cache, the page will often not load again
without doing a hard reload/refresh.

Anybody else see this?

I can't correlate this problem to have started at the same time I
installed NN6 (PR3 a few months ago, and recently the "final"
version) but it started about the same time. Uninstalling and
re-installing, etc etc etc hasn't seemed to help.

Also, you know you can choose which browser you want to be
the "default" without uninstalling one...in NN4x, just edit this line
in the prefs.js file and change false to true. It will ask if you
want it to be the def browser next time you start it...
user_pref("browser.startup.homepage_override", false);
Not sure it that works with NN6...

HTH,

Dave
