I saw the post about Mal's and that is a nice service as long as you have a 
payment processing service. It is a bring-your-own kind of thing.

You may want to look into PayPal -- they continually upgrade their services 
and last time I checked, they were very reasonable if your friend is not 
quite ready to get into a merchant account.

PayPal now offers a cart-lite type of program with *Buy Now* buttons and 
the payment process is much smoother now than it used to be when a buyer 
had to join PayPal before making a credit card purchase.
