This is a BadTrans trojan that is infecting much of the known world - you 
don't have to open the attachment on the email if working with Outlook 
Express - the program autoexecs for you - and then sends itself to every 
open email in your Inbox.

So your helpful comment about training the stupid is not helpful.

I went away last week and downloaded 2,200 emails on my return - 40 of 
those contained this virus - which started sending itself before I realised 
- and MacAfee now tell me it can only be removed in MS-DOS mode - and it is 
not detected by their system - which is just about as good as your 
suggesting we should all change to gobbledegook.com
