The banner graphics cause horizontal scrolling on my PC. Wouldn't worry 
about it.

I get horizontal scrolling when I make the page narrower than 
'http://www.the-isg.co.uk/index.html'. I'd drop the URL in the text of the 
link - make it <.a href="http://www.the-isg.co.uk/index.html">Impossible 
Scenarios Group<./a>

There are a couple of long words 
('anguish/anger/annoyance','Ahhhhhhhggggggggggg!') which cause scrolling 
when the window is sufficiently narrow.
