The HWG's lists are run on donated resources and sometimes based on overall 
list activity amongst all of our lists you can experience delays which will 
vary.

This can also be affected by local network traffic through whatever hubs 
the list mail must travel to get to the lists and back to you.  This will 
be different to each of us depending on our location on the planet Earth 
and add to that any variables that may be in play locally at the time.

Also, as someone else already mentioned, editing of replies across all the 
lists can help speed things along by including only what is necessary in 
replies to keep the conversation going:
